cinnabons...yummmmmm

Yes, I love to bake my own signature desserts, cupcakes etc, but who could resist this classic..... CINNABON Grands made by Pillsbury??  My kids have never experienced the ooey gooeyness of this warm treat.

Nope, I don't make them homemade..... Why mess up a good thing?

Get a load of my junior baker.... just spraying a bit of Baker's Joy on the baking sheet so they won't stick.  They will be plenty sticky.

Mommy: "Peyton, how do we bake the Cinnabons?  Can you tell me the directions?"
Peyton: "Once upon a time, you put the buns in the oven, and then you eat them.  And that is the end of the story."

Oh so carefully laying them on the baking sheet.

Just a sneaky little lick before popping them in the oven.

This was the most perfect facial expression that I've ever seen..... he's amazed by this simple snack.   I love it!!

Waiting ever so patiently to take a bite.

And there you have it.... A very happy Peyton.

and Shell-Belle...... she was a very happy baby!!

fun in the south florida sun....

Saturday was my nephew Ben's 4th birthday celebration and the kids and I had so much fun.  We spent the entire day hopping from the pool, to the massive water slide and kiddie pool, to the playground and kid clubhouse.  Here's some of the photos we took.

Shellie and Daddy lounging in the pool... She's a total water baby.

Peyton loves to swing on his belly.

A South Florida Staple...... Jackson's Ice Cream Parlor

So after being held under quarentine for a week due to Step Throat being spread rampant in our house, Mike and I decided to take the kids to Jackson's Ice Cream Parlor, in Ft Lauderdale, for the very FIRST TIME..... Jackson's is famous for its Classic 50's vibe and style.... everything from the candy strip uniforms to the popcorn machines and vintage candy store.  Here's a couple photos from our visit.  Enjoy!!
